Our Services
At Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, children receive daily guidance and encouragement as they work through their parent-selected curriculum in a nurturing, nature-rich environment. Designed for families using Florida’s Step Up PEP and FES-UA programs, our small-group setting provides structure, accountability, and one-on-one support while keeping learning joyful and meaningful.
We serve students in grades K–6 (ages 5–13), with classes held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in Plantation, Florida. Each group is limited to five to eight students, ensuring a close-knit community where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

Parent-Led Curriculum & Educational Responsibility
At Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, each family is responsible for selecting, purchasing, and maintaining their child’s core academic curriculum. This parent-led approach empowers families to personalize education based on each child’s unique learning style, pace, and interests—while still benefiting from our structured, community based environment. Casa Feliz Schoolhouse operates as a Home Education Instructional Support Program. Parents remain the primary educators of their children under Florida Statute 1002.41. While students may be dropped off for instruction, enrichment, and guided study sessions, parents retain full responsibility for their child’s academic progress, curriculum management, and compliance with homeschool requirements.
Example: A parent may choose to use IXL Learning for math, science, social studies, and language arts. The family would purchase the annual subscription (approximately $79.66 per year, one-time payment) using Step Up for Students PEP funds or through personal payment. During the school day, Casa Feliz provides structured time, support, and accountability for students to complete lessons—but the curriculum itself remains owned and managed by the parent.
In summary:
Parents select and fund their child’s academic programs using Step Up PEP funds or personal payment.
Casa Feliz provides the structure, guidance, and enrichment activities that complement those parent selected curriculums.
Parents remain the primary instructors and maintain oversight, progress monitoring, and academic records. This model keeps families in full control of their child’s educational direction while ensuring students enjoy a consistent, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. All instructional activities and support provided at Casa Feliz are designed to complement each student’s sequential program of instruction as established by their parent under the Home Education Program.
