At Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, families may choose the level of instructional support that best fits their homeschool journey. From four-day support to flexible part-time options, each program combines parent-selected academics, enrichment, Garden Science, and meaningful community in a small-group, nature-rich learning environment.

Garden Science Series
One Day Per Week | Mondays & Thursdays — $95/month
A hands-on science enrichment program where children plant, observe, and care for living plants while exploring nature through guided discovery. Each featured plant is explored over a 4-week series.

What is Core Instructional Support?
At Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, students receive daily guidance and encouragement as they work through their parent-selected curriculum. Our small-group setting provides structure, accountability, and one-on-one support while keeping learning joyful and meaningful.
Core Instructional Support Subjects
Reading & Literacy – guided reading, phonics, spelling, literature discussions, classical works, biographies, handwriting, real-world writing projects, and library skills.
Math – number sense, operations, time and calendars, measurement, financial literacy, applied math projects, and math journals.
Science – age-appropriate life, earth, physical, and environmental science through observation, discussion, journaling, demonstrations, and hands-on educational activities.
History & Geography – timelines, map studies, storytelling, cultural exploration, civics, geography, and current events.
Writing & Communication – creative writing, journaling, oral presentations, public speaking, and structured peer feedback.
Enrichment & Electives
Throughout the week, children explore a variety of rotating enrichment experiences that complement their academic studies.
Art & Creative Expression – drawing, painting, crafts, and nature-inspired projects.
Creative Comics – combining art, writing, and storytelling.
Music & Classical Studies – music appreciation, rhythm, singing, and listening to classical works.
Garden Science & Nature Studies – seed starting, plant growth, gardening, pollinators, ecology, nature observation, and journaling.
Computer & Digital Skills – typing, digital literacy, supervised research, internet safety, and introductory coding.
Unit Studies & Child-Choice Projects – thematic and project-based learning across multiple subjects.

The Core Program provides comprehensive instructional support for children in grades K–6 (approximately ages 5–13). Children receive consistent guidance while working through their parent-selected curriculum alongside Garden Science, enrichment, and small-group learning experiences.
Ideal for: Families seeking consistent, four-day-per-week academic support, structure, enrichment, and community.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Location: Private home in Plantation, Florida
Group Size: 5–8 children, allowing for individualized support, meaningful relationships, and a close-knit learning environment. -
$650/month | 5 hours/day × 2 days/week = approximately 40 instructional hours/month
The Flex Program provides flexible instructional support for children in grades K–6 (approximately ages 5–13). Children receive guidance while working through their parent-selected curriculum alongside Garden Science, enrichment, and small-group learning experiences.
Ideal for: Families seeking two days per week of academic support, structure, enrichment, and community while maintaining flexibility in their homeschool schedule.
Schedule: 2 scheduled days per week, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Location: Private home in Plantation, Florida
Group Size: 5–8 children, allowing for individualized support, meaningful relationships, and a close-knit learning environment. -
$350/month | 5 hours/day × 1 day/week = approximately 20 instructional hours/month
The Daily Program provides once-weekly instructional support for children in grades K–6 (approximately ages 5–13). Children receive guidance while working through their parent-selected curriculum alongside Garden Science, enrichment, and small-group learning experiences.
Ideal for: Families seeking one consistent day each week for academic support, enrichment, Garden Science, and homeschool community.
Schedule: 1 scheduled day per week, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

Group Size: 5–8 children, allowing for individualized support, meaningful relationships, and a close-knit learning environment. -

The Garden Science Series invites children to plant, observe, and care for living plants while exploring science through hands-on discovery and nature study. A day at Casa Feliz Schoolhouse
Our days at Casa Feliz follow a gentle, structured rhythm that balances academics, creativity, nature, and meaningful connection. Each day provides children with consistency and structure while allowing room for curiosity, individual interests, and hands-on learning.
A typical day (9:00 AM–2:00 PM) may include:
Morning Welcome: A warm start to the day with time to settle in, connect, and prepare for learning.
Core Academics: Guided support as children work through their parent-selected language arts, math, and other core curriculum.
Creative Expression: Drawing, painting, music appreciation, creative writing, and other age-appropriate art experiences.
Snack & Connection: Time to refuel, socialize, and build friendships within our small-group community.
Garden Science & Nature Studies: Seasonal plant science, seed starting, gardening, nature observation, journaling, and ecology studies.
History & Geography: Maps, timelines, biographies, cultural studies, civics, and other engaging connections to the world around us.
Lunch & Community: Shared lunchtime with conversation and connection.
Projects & Enrichment: Age-appropriate unit studies, creative projects, computer skills, educational games, or child-choice learning experiences.
Closing & Pick-Up: Time to organize materials, reflect on the day, and prepare for pick-up at 2:00 PM.
Daily activities and schedules may vary based on curriculum needs, age, developmental readiness, seasonal studies, and program scheduling.
Curriculum & Parent Responsibilities
Casa Feliz Schoolhouse operates as a Home Education Instructional Support Program designed to complement each child’s parent-directed Home Education Program.
Families are responsible for selecting, purchasing, and maintaining their child’s core academic curriculum. This parent-led approach allows families to personalize education according to their child’s learning style, pace, interests, and educational goals while benefiting from the structure, support, enrichment, and community provided by Casa Feliz.
Parents remain the primary educators of their children under Florida Statute 1002.41 and retain responsibility for curriculum selection, academic oversight, educational records, evaluations, and compliance with applicable Florida Home Education requirements.
During scheduled program hours, Casa Feliz provides structured instructional support, guidance, accountability, enrichment, and opportunities for children to work through their parent-selected curriculum. Enrollment does not transfer responsibility for the child’s Home Education Program to Casa Feliz Schoolhouse.
What Families Provide
Parent-selected core curriculum, books, and subscriptions
Curriculum-specific materials required for individual coursework
Lunch, snacks, and a personal water bottle
Appropriate clothing and footwear for scheduled activities
Necessary medications or emergency supplies
Parents or legal guardians must provide accurate and current information regarding allergies, medical needs, activity restrictions, emergency contacts, and other information reasonably necessary to support their child during program hours.
Payment & Additional Costs
Payment Method: Step Up PEP Vendor & FES-UA Eligible invoicing through EMA. Private pay is accepted for non-scholarship families.
Payment Schedule: Monthly tuition is invoiced at the beginning of each service month and reserves the child’s recurring enrollment space.
Additional Costs: Optional special events, field trips, yearbooks, or other activities outside the regular program may require additional fees. Families will be notified in advance of any additional cost.
Program Disclosure
Casa Feliz Schoolhouse LLC is a Home Education Instructional Support Program. It is not a public school, private school, microschool, or school of any kind, and enrollment does not constitute enrollment in a school. “Schoolhouse” is simply part of the Casa Feliz name and reflects a home-based place for learning, community, and educational support—not a designation as a school.
Casa Feliz provides instructional support, enrichment, structure, accountability, and community designed to complement each child’s parent-directed Home Education Program.
Parents or legal guardians remain the primary educators and retain responsibility for their child’s curriculum, academic progress, educational records, evaluations, and compliance with applicable Florida Home Education requirements.
Participation is subject to Casa Feliz Schoolhouse enrollment requirements, policies, and applicable parent or guardian authorizations.
