About

At Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, I believe education should nourish both the mind and the heart.

My name is Victoria, founder of Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and wellness educator specializing in detoxification and whole-body health. Most importantly, I am a mother of two boys who inspire me daily.

I founded Casa Feliz because I wanted to create the kind of learning environment I wished existed for my own children—one where childhood is protected, individuality is celebrated, and every child is truly seen.

I believe children learn best through movement, hands-on experiences, time outdoors, and meaningful connection. At Casa Feliz, children experience a thoughtful rhythm of academics, nature, gardening, creative expression, and free play.

Character and emotional development are woven into each day. Through journaling, mindfulness, and reflection, children learn empathy, resilience, responsibility, and confidence—skills that prepare them not only for academics, but for life.

My background in wellness has taught me that a child’s environment matters. Casa Feliz is intentionally designed as a non-toxic home learning space, with Berkey-filtered water, eco-friendly products, and thoughtful choices that support the well-being of growing children.

Casa Feliz Schoolhouse is a happy schoolhouse for curious minds—a homeschool learning community where children are nurtured in character, emotional well-being, and a love of learning while growing into grounded, capable, and compassionate individuals.

— Victoria, Founder & Director of Casa Feliz Schoolhouse

What is a Schoolhouse?

At Casa Feliz Schoolhouse, the term schoolhouse refers to a learning community that supports homeschooling families. Casa Feliz is not a traditional school, but a home-based educational environment where children gather to learn, explore, create, and grow alongside one another within parent-directed home education.

Families remain responsible for their child's home education program, while Casa Feliz provides instruction, enrichment, guidance, and meaningful learning experiences in a nurturing environment.

Homeschooling families may choose to have their children attend independently during scheduled program hours in this home-based learning community, while parents retain responsibility for their child's education.

Why the Approach Works

Research Snapshot

Children need natural light and open air to thrive. Studies show that regular outdoor exposure boosts vitamin D, mood, focus, and cognitive growth while reducing stress and sedentary time.

Journaling & Emotional Intelligence

Expressive journaling helps children process emotions, reduce anxiety, and build emotional awareness. Research links journaling to stronger self-regulation, empathy, and communication skills—foundations of lifelong confidence.

Movement & Cognitive Development

Movement is essential for brain function. Frequent physical activity and “brain breaks” improve attention, memory, and problem-solving, helping students stay focused and engaged throughout the day.
